ECOTAGE from Finland took their first steps in 2019 when first couple of songs were composed. The members of the band have been active in the Finnish scene for many years and now wanted to show their passion for vegan metal and animal rights. Their sound is heavily influenced by the late 90’s vegan hardcore and metalcore of Europe and the US.
ECOTAGE played their first shows in late 2022 together with Finnish vegan bands GRAY STATE and CAGELESS as well as WOAT from Germany. The band got a positive response to their music and also got the attention of the French label KNIVES OUT RECORDS. Now ECOTAGE is putting finishing touches to their debut EP. It will be released by KNIVES OUT early 2024.
